The Mission of the MHAIDS Center is:

Provide the elements for developing the skills and knowledge to generate a climate in society where people affected by Mental Health problems and infected by HIV/AIDS feel like integral contributing members.

The Goals of the MHAIDS Center are to:

• Assist and support people living with HIV/ AIDS and Mental Health disorders, their relatives and trustees in overcoming psychological barriers;
• Prevent both self and social stigmatization and discrimination of  PLHIV;
• Identify and minimize new problems and risks of psychological pressure in society;
• Advocate for effective public health responses related to Mental Health and also HIV/AIDS;

A logotype is the letters "Psy", means a term of "psychology". The point together with a symbol psy represents the person closed in a circle of the problems. The circle symbolizes a society, which stigmatizes and discriminates people with problems of mental health and HIV/AIDS, exhausting them even depth into a circle of the problems. A red ribbon is a symbol of existing problem of HIV/AIDS and our tolerance to the given problem. And also of struggle against stigma and discrimination concerning a HIV of positive people and their nearest environment. However, it is oblivious that, there is always a way to get rid of any problems. Break in a circle symbolizes getting a freedom, a victory over a vicious circle of problems and provides hope for the reasonable attitude from the society and the help to all layers of the community who was touched by those problems.
